WATCHTOWER ONLINE 19TH CENTURY PIONEERS OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES and its sister website, ZION'S WATCH TOWER TRACT SOCIETY: THE EARLY YEARS These two websites are filled with lots of good books, magazine articles, biographical material, etc. relating to the persons connected with the start of the Watchtower Society. NSBIBLE.ORG This site features the six "Studies In The Scriptures" volumes. ZION'S WATCH TOWER ISSUES 1879 THROUGH 1916 MILLIONS NOW LIVING WILL NEVER DIE!! (1920) Textbook which taught that Abraham (and others) would be resurrected in 1925. THE FINISHED MYSTERY (1917) This is the lengthy prophecy textbook which taught such things as destruction of all religions in 1919, destruction of all governments in 1920, etc., etc. THE TWO BABYLONS by Alexander Hislop (1850s) This book was a favorite of J. F. Rutherford, who used Hislop's teachings to eliminate the use of the Cross, and stop celebrating Christmas, Easter, birthdays, etc. The WBTS sold this book until sometime in the 1980s. Readers should be aware that there are websites which are highly critical of Hislop's scholarship and conclusions. THE WAY TO PARADISE (1924) Children's textbook which taught the millenium would begin in 1925/6. Excerpts only. DAYS OF DELUSION- A STRANGE BIT OF HISTORY By Clara Endicott Sears (1924) This book is best known as a historical chronicle of the Millerite Movement of the 1840s, whose failed prophesies predicted end-times for October 1843, March 1844, and finally October 1844. The "diehards" from this failed movement later gave birth to the Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh Day Adventists, World-Wide Church of God, Advent Christian Church, and several smaller COG and ACC groups. FAITH ON THE MARCH (1957) This WBTS-approved history book was written in the 1950s by A. H. Macmillan, who was C. T. Russell's administrative assistant, who later served on the WBTS Board of Directors during Rutherford's and Knorr's presidencies. DOES GOD REALLY CARE ABOUT US? HOW CAN BLOOD SAVE YOUR LIFE? The Watchtower Society constantly searches the internet for such to force their removal and closure of the site. (1999) This is the prophecy textbook recently studied in weekly meetings by JWs worldwide. THE GREATEST MAN WHO EVER LIVED (1991) This is the WBTS's attempt at consolidating the Gospels into a single book about Jesus's life. These sites are also violating copyright laws, so copy these books before they disappear. I am openly posting these links because these books are so widespread that they pop up on other sites as fast as the WBTS is able to close previous hosts down. While this website is not the book itself, it is a chapter-by-chapter book report, including links to two full-text chapters and two author's addendums, as well as numerous links to photographs and reference sources. This website is the easiest and fastest one we know to learn about JW errors!!!
